If you can’t afford the prescription drugs you need you may be eligible for free or discounted medicines through our prescription discount programs. As a 340B participant, our patients have access to outpatient drugs at reduced rates. Southern Jersey Family Medical Centers patients are also eligible for prescription assistance made available by pharmaceutical companies. Patients must qualify and apply directly with drug companies.
At SJFMC it is important for us to provide care to our patients in their primary language. We have several lines of support for translation and interpretation services. From bilingual staff including providers to translation technology, we work hard to eliminate linguistic and cultural barriers to care.
Transportation plays a vital role in one’s ability to live healthy. Lack of transportation is a major barrier that contributes to delayed or missed appointments, inability to comply with follow-up health management care plans, increased emergency room visits, and overall poor health outcomes.
